Go to app.uniswap.org/not-found. Break the URL on purpose. You'll meet a small, slightly annoyed unicorn sitting on a flying carpet — Uniswap's 404 mascot, shipped quietly by Uniswap Labs engineers and seen by millions of people who were, at that exact moment, lost.

Open the page source and read the image tag. The engineers who put him there had already given him a name:

Liluni. Lil' Uni. Not a name a marketing team picked — a name a developer typed at 2am so a screen reader would have something to say. It sat in production for years, read by nobody, waiting.

That's the whole thesis. The best tickers aren't invented, they're found — and this one was hiding in the source code of the biggest DEX in the world.

The Takeover
